Our union is officially chartered, establishing a strong foundation for worker rights.

Expanded membership to include workers from new industries.

DATE 1963

Participated in historic local and national civil rights actions.

DATE 1970

Achieved landmark healthcare benefits through collective bargaining.

DATE 1985

New headquarters established to better serve members.

DATE 1992

Major organizing victory, adding over 100 new members.

Led key strike action that set industry standards statewide.
